Ingredients
- 2 Spring onions, bulb and leaf cut off.
- 450 gm Chicken, minced
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Fresh green chili, minced
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tblsp White flour
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
Method
Slice the spring onions diagonally very finely.
Put the minced chicken in a bowl, add the turmeric, chili powder, green chilies, salt, black pepper, spring onions and flour and mix thoroughly. Add the beaten eggs and mix again. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Heat the oil in a wok over a low flame. Spoon the chicken in balls, about 50 mm across, into the oil and fry until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Drain on absorbent paper.
