Lamb Kebabs PDF Print E-mail

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Minced Lamb
  • 15 gm Fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 Green chilies, chopped
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin, ground
  • Fresh coriander, 1 sprig
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 6 tblsp Vegetable oil

ImageBlend the ginger, green chili 1/2 tsp salt and the garam masalla with a little water to make a smooth paste.

Mix the spice paste with thelamb and the onion. Sprinkle over the chili powder, pepper, cumin and coriander leaves. Add the egg and 2 tsp of the oil and combine well.

Roll the mixture into sausage shapes and skewer. Grill the kebabs for 20 minutes turning frequently and brushing with a little oil.

Remove the kebabs from the skewers and fry for about 10 minutes in the remaining oil, turning gently.
