- 500 gm (1 pound) beef mince
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 onion, chopped small
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped finely
- Salt and pepper
- 350 gm (12 ounces) of pasta, cooked according to directions on packet.
Gently cook the mince in a dry pan, tipping out any excess fat that is rendered (no need to add oil if cooked gently).
Add onion and garlic continue cooking for 10 minutes.
Add the remainder of the ingredients, stir well and cook gently for a further 15 minutes.
Serve with pasta, with grated parmesan cheese on top for extra taste |
