Ingredients
Method Chill the beef. Slice into very thin (3mm) strips about 100mm x 10mm. Combine 2/3rds of the vegetable oil with the soya sauce and spring onions. Mix into the beef and marinade for 2 hours, covered. Heat the remaining oil in a wok and stir fry the sichuan pepper for 30 seconds. Add the meat and it's marinade and stir fry until cooked (no more than 3 minutes). Remove from the heat and stir in the sesame oil.
